About the Artist
Bridey McGlynn (she/her/hers) is a multi media artist from Northborough, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Syracuse University with a concentration in Two-dimensional Mixed Media and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises. Bridey returned home after university to work at Worcester Center for Crafts, a non-profit art organization. There, she works as the Registrar, Assistant to the Executive Director, and an instructor. Bridey's work was most recently exhibited in Next 2022: A Biennial of Contemporary Print, at PrintMatters, in Houston, TX, and The 87th Regional Exhibition of Art and Craft at Fitchburg Art Museum, in Fitchburg, MA. She was also a recent recipient of the ArtsWorcester 2023 Material Needs Grant. Bridey is looking forward to continuing to expand her practice as she pursues her MFA at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2D Fine Arts this year.
